Cheering the Tigers On

Be warned, the senior citizens here at The Terrace are SERIOUS Mizzou fans! Once again, we showed our Tiger spirit during the March Madness basketball game.  Most residents wore their black & gold attire and several even madly shook their MU pom-poms.  Sadly, all our screamin’ and yellin’ didn’t help our Tigers win, but we sure had fun!  Besides our usual popcorn and lemonade, the dining room offered us a choice of three “To Go” dinner boxes.  It was fun all sitting together in front of the big screen TV and eating our box lunches.  I can’t resist the Terrace’s chicken salad & homemade chips, while one neighbor relished a BIG, jumbo hot dog and the other enjoyed the delicious chicken tenders.  The homemade brownies were the perfect finale.  Even though our beloved Tigers lost, we all had a fun, exciting evening.  Life at The Terrace is never boring!
