Activities at the Terrace

Moving to a senior living community shouldn’t mean giving up your independence. At the Terrace, you’ll find no constraints to living your preferred lifestyle – whether that means taking day trips around the Columbia community, meeting your neighbors through social activities, enjoying your favorite hobbies, discovering new hobbies or indulging in some well-deserved “me-time.”

At the Terrace, we value a fun environment filled with activities that bring the community together. Our activities also adapt to our residents’ interests, and we are always looking for ways to ensure we’re keeping up with the times. We’ll encourage you to learn something new while empowering you to remember to care for your overall well-being – mentally, physically and emotionally!

One Heart, One Community

Our retirement community is more than just a place to reside—it’s a vibrant hub of connection and compassion. Here, our residents cherish the opportunity to give back to our beloved community through acts of kindness and generosity.

In May 2024, our community came together to support Pascale’s Pals, a cause close to our hearts, by raising funds for children and families at the MU Health Care Children’s Hospital

But our commitment to making a difference doesn’t stop there. Terrace residents also joined forces to volunteer for the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive. With passion and dedication, they worked to stuff donation envelopes into shopping bags, knowing that each gesture would bring nourishment and hope to those in need.

It’s moments like these that make our community truly special, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose for all who call Terrace home. We invite you to be a part of our family, where every act of kindness makes a difference and every resident is valued.
